Artist Statement

My sculptures are varied in style and theme, reflecting the many inspirations I take in their creation. I work primarily in wood and stone as well as using naturally found objects as part of my environmental education work. I am particularly fascinated by organic forms and by playing with the idea of plasticity and fluidity using stone. I have a growing passion for environmentally inspired beach art and have taken great pleasure in working with kids on these projects.
